Privacy Policy

This page sets out how S.A.R. Ltd (us) uses and protects your info when using the site.

What we are responsible for.

Privacy means a lot to us. We are internet users, just like you, so we like to protect your personal info just like we would like to be protected. If we do ever ask for info about you by which you can be identified, it will only be per this policy.

Just like the website, the policy could be updated, so keep an eye on it for the latest position. Please get in touch if you are unhappy with the policy or wish to know more. This policy is reviewed annually in January of any given year. This policy is effective from January 2023.

We don’t collect a lot of information. We collect non-identifiable info for analytical purposes such as improving our site. The only time we collect more is when you fill out the contact form or quote request form. By filling out these forms and submitting them, you are authorising us to hold that data and use it to support you and your project work. You can ask us to delete that information at any time.

We never share your details or information. It’s your information, not ours. If someone (other than you) wants information about you, we will inform you that someone is asking after you. It is up to you if you follow up with that. We might only share it without asking you first if we are required to do so by law. We would tell you if that (unlikely) event happened unless, by law, we were not allowed to.

We might use your info to improve our services and products and so may get in touch from time to time, but only if this is important for supporting you and your services (e.g. market research). Inclusion on any newsletter lists is completely up to you and you can opt-out at any time. As an Asbestos Surveying, Management and Removal company, we like to keep our clients up to date with industry news, offers and products we think you would benefit from (things that might improve your brand position). These emails may include links to 3rd party sites, for instance, if there is a promotion we feel you may benefit from. As such, we suggest you stay opted “in”, but just let us know if you want to opt “out”. You can change your mind and opt in or out at any time, even if you previously opted in or out.

We have established suitable procedures, systems and processes to ensure that any information we collect on you is entirely private and secure. Employees or industry contacts working on our behalf must complete mandatory training on our privacy policies and procedures. We collect written confirmation from every delegate that they both understand the policy and will comply with it.

We perform due diligence on products, companies or services we use to conduct our work that might use your personal information, and we will involve you at all times in this process. We will seek only to use companies that sign up to comparable or higher privacy standards and will inform you where this can not be met.

We will support you in knowing where your information has be used publicly (such as on your website) so that you are aware of where confidentiality may be broken. It is your choice to put your information in the public domain and as such will seek your authority to do so before conducting these activities.

What we are not responsible for

We are not responsible for your data if you have shared it on other sites, even if that site was linked to ours. We do not control other sites, and it is the owner of those sites to provide reasonable privacy control. As a result, we can not be liable for any confidentiality breaches experienced by other sites that are not covered by this privacy statement. Use precaution and review any privacy statements on other websites before sending your sensitive personal information through those sites.

What to do when something goes wrong
